Bayesian inference from the ground up

Eric-Jan Wagenmakers and Dora Matzke developed a course book “Bayesian inference from the ground up: The theory of common sense” will be made freely available on their BayesianSpectacles website.

The website is full of interesting information, including the Let’s Poke a Pizza: A New Cartoon to Explain the Strength of Evidence in a Bayes Factor, a great introduction for the very young cognitive sentient: “Bayesian Thinking for Toddlers” (also available in Dutch : “Bayesiaans Denken voor Peuters“)

and also a “Bayesian Inference in Three Minutesintroduction in 10 slides.
